The unit for financial assistance is located at Första Magasingatan 9, and our unit consists of about 35 employees with various job titles such as financial assistance administrators, senior financial assistance administrators, and administrators.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of financial assistance administrator is central to our operations and contributes every day to ensuring that people receive the support they need. We are now looking for a structured, service-oriented, and dedicated administrator for the unit for financial assistance.
As an administrator, you have an important function in the organization. Your work is varied and adapts to the needs of the organization, making the role both dynamic and developmental. You work closely with our caseworkers and managers and provide valuable support in their daily work. By ensuring professional and efficient administrative support, you create good conditions for our caseworkers to focus on their mission to provide the best possible service to the municipality's residents.
You are responsible for qualified administrative tasks that are crucial for the organization to function smoothly, efficiently, and legally. With your structure, accuracy, and sense of service, you contribute to quality at every level.
Your tasks include:
- Registering and managing cases in the operational system
- Expediting and archiving documents and files
- Scheduling meetings and coordinating administrative tasks
- Correcting and rectifying inaccuracies in systems and documentation
- Posting invoices and managing case registration
- Seeking reimbursements from the state
- Performing specific administrative tasks at the request of caseworkers
- Sorting and managing files as well as archiving
You will have a close-to-operation role with varied tasks that develop your administrative skills. You will become part of an engaged team, gain insight into the work of social services, and have the opportunity to influence work processes while making a difference for people in the municipality every day.
QUALIFICATIONS
This is a role for you who want to work closely with core operations and have an important function in a team where collaboration and quality are in focus. You will have a varied workday with both independent responsibility and close cooperation with caseworkers. The position gives you good insight into the work of social services and the opportunity to develop your administrative skills in a socially important organization.
We are looking for someone who has:
- High school education in natural sciences, social sciences, economics, commerce, or other education deemed relevant by the employer
- At least two years of experience in administrative work
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech, writing, and reading comprehension
It is meritorious if you:
- Have experience in administrative work within social services or a government agency
- Have knowledge of the operational system Treserva
- Have experience with Flexite and the Office suite
- Have experience in invoice management and case registration
- Have started studies to become a social worker
